Some information about us

We meet for worship on Sundays, usually in the morning but we do have some evening services. We are engaged in various local community events, some of which are organised by us, some by others.

Our Sunday Service is usually quite traditional in style, and led by a Minister or Local Preacher. We have occasional Local Arrangement services led by our worship leaders. Some of our services are held in the schoolroom and may be in the style of cafe worship. We share communion monthly.

We work in partnership with St.Stythians Anglican Church to offer ‘Messy Church’, currently on an irregular basis, in the Village Hall (for families with children). In the recent past we have conducted monthly ‘Open the Book’ assemblies in the Village School and hope to resume in the near future. We don’t currently have a Sunday School or Junior Church group, but children and young people are always welcome.

We hold a regular bible-study group and a monthly Soup Lunch.

The chapel building dates from 1860, and is located slightly outside the village. It is a Grade II* listed building, and comprises a sanctuary with gallery, kitchen and toilet facilities, Memorial Hall, meeting room and a large schoolroom. Apart from the sanctuary, Memorial Hall and gallery, areas are fully accessible. The schoolroom is available for hire.

Please contact the Minister regarding weddings, funerals and baptisms. If you wish to hire the schoolroom please contact the Lettings Secretary.
